It also certainly does not stop you from wanting to find inexpensive ways to enjoy your time outside of class. Trust me, I get it. I’ve been there. I wish I had this list of freebies and discounts when I was still a student. Here you will discover the top 10 places to receive free and discounted products and services. Want to know the best part? This article also provides bonus discount opportunities if you stay tuned to the very end.
Discount Meals
Qdoba Mexican Eats- Delicious burrito bowls, crispy quesadillas, and tasty tacos are just a few menu options at this popular fast food chain. You’re sure to reach your protein goals and save some coins when you provide your student ID at the time of purchase. The discounts vary by location so be sure to call ahead or ask the cashier which freebies they provide. Some locations offer 50% off your purchase on Tuesdays. There are other locations that provide 20% off one food item, or a free drink with your purchase. You can’t go wrong with any of these great deals!
HelloFresh- This popular meal kit company provides excellent eats at a great price. If you enjoy cooking or want to sharpen your skills I highly suggest utilizing these discounts and freebies. As a first time customer, students receive 55% off their first HelloFresh box. Alternatively, students can be discounted 15% off every box for 12 whole months PLUS free shipping. Clothing Sales
American Eagle Outfitters- Looking for a new pair of jeans or a nice crewneck for the Fall weather? Then I’m sure you’ve already browsed the American Eagle website because that’s also one of my go to stores. Before you check out your cart, make sure to utilize the 20% off discount you get just for being a student! But wait, there’s more. Fun fact, you can even stack your student discount on top of current sales going on in-store and online. The only exception is that you cannot use the student discount on clearance items.
Forever 21- Popular new trends are always found at Forever 21 and now their clothes can be yours at 21% off. Known for a variety of options, here you can find shoes, jewelry, tops, bottoms, hats, basically ANYTHING! While there are fewer and fewer Forever 21 stores in malls, that won’t stop you from using the discount online. The only drawback with this freebie is that this brand does not allow discount stacking so shop wisely.

Museums- The arts deserve more appreciation and lucky for you, many museums admit students for free! If you are unable to gain free admission, multiple art museums provide discounted rates when you show your student ID. One quick google search could lead to a fun date night or chance to explore what your city has to offer. In each state you can find a museum of art or history, sometimes there’s more unique options like wax museums or a sports hall of fame. Ultimately, there’s something for everyone and all students should take advantage of this discount!
NFL Sunday Ticket– For all the football fans out there, you’ll love this one! With your student discount you can watch all the best games for $199/year. This is a huge discount compared to the normal $379 per year that YouTube TV subscribers pay. With this purchase, you will have access to every Sunday game even if it’s non-local teams. Additionally, you can utilize the multi-view options to watch up to four live games at once!
