Anastasia Soare

This Romanian-American CEO, founder, and makeup mogul has an estimated net worth of $900M. If her name isn’t familiar, you might know her as the Eyebrow Queen- like the Cali girlies call her. The popular Anastasia Beverly Hills brand is owned and operated by the one and only, Mrs. Soare! This is the story of an immigrant girl turned millionaire makeup mogul.

Born December 28, 1957 Anastasia Soare is no stranger to adversity. She was born in Romania and raised by her hard-working mother, Victoria. At just 12 years old, Anastasia lost her father which made her upbringing extra challenging. In Soare’s 30s she moved to the US, knowing little English, but ready to start work as an esthetician. During this time Anastasia realized that eyebrows were not getting the attention they deserved. This led to her desire to branch out and build her empire!

A million dollar business, hired by celebrities like Naomi Campbell and the Kardashians, was founded by an immigrant working in a beauty salon. For all of you waiting on your breakthrough as you brainstorm ideas to gain wealth, be patient! Becoming a millionaire does not happen overnight. You can be the first MILLIONAIRE in your family! Just look at Anastasia. The woman who barely knew English evolved into a founder and CEO.

Lucy Guo

This self-made woman is only 29 years old but has already been estimated to have a networth of $500M. To add on, Lucy Guo earned this millionaire status without having a college degree. She’s certainly not your average tech tycoon, but her success speaks for itself. Lucy has co-founded Scale AI and founded Passes to achieve her millionaire status. This entrepreneurial spirit can be traced back to her childhood.

Lucy Guo is the child of two electrical engineers. While this makes it seem like Lucy might not qualify as self-made, her parents literally discouraged her from getting into the engineering field. Her parents felt that engineering was a male dominated industry that would put Lucy at a disadvantage. Regardless, Lucy Guo realized she could excel in the tech industry since learning to program in the second grade. Lucy went on to raise millions from investors and land on the Forbes 30 under 30 list without relying on friends or family to propel her.

Let Lucy Guo serve as inspiration for all the women trying to make it big. This child of immigrants made millions after dropping out of college. No degree, no problem! You can be like Lucy too!

Whitney Wolfe Herd

Forbes suggests this well known founder and executive chair has a net worth of $400M. Whitney Wolfe Herd has had her hand in two popular dating apps. I’ll give you a hint, they rhyme with binder and humble and basically every college student has a story about these apps. If those hints weren’t obvious enough, just know there is no Tinder or Bumble without Whitney Wolfe Herd.

Born July 1, 1989 Whitney Wolfe Herd is the youngest woman to take a company public. This icon rose to success as a self-made millionaire. Whitney, a former Kappa Kappa Gamma at Southern Methodist University earned her degree in international studies. As a college student and recent grad she displayed interest in fundraising for nonprofits, and assisting charities. Her kind heart paired with a business mindset helped her gain experience in marketing for Tinder before founding her app, Bumble.

Whitney Wolfe Herd is 35 and thriving! She created an app based on the lived experiences of her and her friends. Learning from Whitney, it’s clear that fleshing out a thought or idea can lead to something huge! Basically, chatting with the girls can spark inspiration so dream big and take action.
